Suggestions for Improvement

For the numbers in red on the picture I have the following notes:
1) Always try to avoid creating tangents or overlaps that make the drawing hard to read (visually of course).
2) For these kind of things it is very useful to try the pose out yourself or ask someone to pose for you.

I'm not sure the expression and the body-language add up, while his body is in a self-protective position he has a pretty big smile on his face (is he scared/insecure or happy). Noting these details and making them work in your advantage can add a lot to your drawing.

Ok, I hope I didn't go overboard with the things I ended up pointing out. Though they are mainly small things ^^U. Wish you the best of luck and fun with drawing and improving!
